  • This is a reminder to all Seniors testing in the High School Gym this morning.  Please be sure to arrive promptly for your session at either 8:30 or 10:30 so our outside proctors can get their job done efficiently.

  • This is also a reminder to those having Phys. Ed. this morning to be extra quiet around the High School Gym as there is testing taking place until 12:15.

  • Anyone interested in performing at McQuaid’s coffeehouse, please see the flyer posted on the Drama board.

  • Mission Mania Bro-tanks are on sale during all lunches--this Wednesday is the absolute last day to turn in your money and order form.  Volleyball team sign ups and Mission mania ticket sales begin on Wednesday.

  • There will be a Master Minds practice today after school in Room 113.

  • Attention Students: the cafeteria will be closed and not serving breakfast  Wednesday morning.  Again, the cafeteria will be closed Wednesday morning for breakfast in honor of the Senior 100 Days to graduation celebration.

  • Today is the day!  Dum Dum Mania for the Missions has arrived!  Stop by the Bookstore during your lunch period TODAY to purchase your 25 cent sucker and a chance to win great prizes – including iTunes gift cards, Mercy hoodies, mugs, giant candy bars, Bookstore candy certificates and other great prizes.  Thank you for your support of the missions!

  • Attention Juniors!  If you signed up in the Counseling office for the College Fair at the Riverside Convention Center, you must turn in your permission slip  – or your spot will be given away.

  • There will be a mandatory Paris/Rome trip meeting for both students and parents THIS Wednesday, March 4th in the Media Center at 7:00 p.m.  If there are any questions, please contact Mrs. Gysel.  This is our last group meeting before our departure.

  • Passport is going to help the elderly with odds and ends jobs after school today. Please sign up outside of Mrs. Randazzese's office before lunch time if you plan on coming.

  • Do you want to travel to Argentina next Spring? There will be an informational meeting this Thursday, march 5th in the cafeteria for all students interested.  You must be a sophomore, junior, or senior to attend this trip.  Please see Mr. Thompson for more details.  See you on Thursday!!

  • Attention all athletes sport forms must be brought to the nurse during homeroom or advisement today.

  • Belated congratulations to Emily Cook and Lexie Brooks for their wins against boxers from Cincinnati Ohio!! Their wins helped bring the overall team win back to Rochester this year.

Yum!  It's time to start gathering your quarters for Dum Dum Mania!  Stop by the Bookstore during your lunch break on Tuesday, March 3rd.  Purchase a sucker for 25 cents and a chance to win several great prizes, such as iTunes gift cards, extra large candy bars, MERCY hoodies, mugs, candy passes and more.  All money collected go to the missions!

  • Lacrosse and Softball - Varsity and JV. Lists of students approved to try out   today are posted outside the Nurse’s Health Office.   If you are not approved on these lists, you will not try out today.Late forms handed in    after 12 noon will not be processed. See the nurse before 12 noon, if you have questions.

  • A reminder for Mrs O'Brien-Kiely's- Per 5 Studio Art Class- Please remember to meet in the pottery room today-Monday.

  • Congratulations to the Mercy Speech and Debate team for winning 3rd place overall this season! They will be sending 5 girls to states this year and Maddie Bianchi has also qualified for nationals.

  • There will be a Master Minds practice tomorrow after school in room 113.

  • Did you know that March 14, 2015 at 9:26:53 am is pi day?  This is a very special pi day because it is the first 10 digits of pi (3.141592653) in the correct order.  This only happens once a century.

  • Come and celebrate Chinese Lantern Festival this Thursday, March 5th in the cafeteria from 3 to 4.  We will play games and learn about the origin of the lantern festival.  Food and drink will be served.  All are welcome!

  • Good job to everyone who competed in the indoor track state qualifier meet on Saturday.  Congratulations to Alana Morrow who finished 2nd in the 55 meter hurdles.  She is now advancing to states .  Be sure to congratulate her!

  • Passport's March Monthly flyer is being passed out in home rooms this morning. All high school students are welcome to volunteer.  Sign up outside of Mrs. Randazzese's office for Fairport Baptist Homes tomorrow, the Legacy on Wednesday, Foodlink on Thursday, or Saints Place on Saturday!  Lots of great opportunities.
