5/17 Today is an E day!
5/17 The library is closed this Friday. Please plan accordingly.
5/17-5/18 Please be sure to sign up for the Colleen Harrington Walk, taking place on Monday, May 28th here at Mercy. The Walk begins at 11:00am and a picnic follows. Students must raise at least $20.00 in order to participate. The first 100 students raising $25.00 or more in pledges will receive a Colleen Harrington Walk T-shirt. We hope to see all of you there on the 28th.
5/17 Attention students who are writers- Sign up with Mrs. Rouleau today to come to the library tomorrow to meet Printz award winning writer A.S. King. You must sign up with Mrs. Rouleau to attend.
5/17 Tomorrow is the big day...Jr. Ring Ceremony, Jr. Prom and The Ride.... where Mr. Matthews and Mrs. Barbero get to ride their bikes 100 miles to support The Center for Missing and Exploited Children. It's not too late to support this great cause. You can still donate a dollar, or any change you can spare, during homeroom or at lunch. Thanks for helping to Save One Child At A Time.

5/15 Today is a C day!
5/15 Attention Mrs. Kvam's Christian Scripture students: We will be meeting IN THE LIBRARY MEDIA CENTER for class today. You don't need to come all the way up to the 3rd floor---please go directly to the media center at the beginning of class. See you there!

5/15 Quill editors – please meet Wednesday at 7:15am in the publications office to check progress on the final issue of the year!
5/15 Attention Yearbook staff – there will be a meeting for anyone interested in being an editor for the 2012-13 yearbook. Our meeting will be Tuesday, May 15th at 7:15am in the publications office. See Ms. Stein or Mr. G with questions.
SPORTS
Mercy Crew had a fantastic weekend at the New York State Scholastic Championships this past weekend. Both Novice 4 boats placed in the top 10 for high school teams with the Novice 4 of Megan Hill, Mary Coppola, Brenna Multala, Amy Quinlisk and Joise Sheftic bringing home silver medals. The Second Varsity 8 of Emma Bevilacqua, Brooke Morrison, Marina Vanini, Katie Seeger, Lauren Filice, Maggie Miller, Elena Pochodylo, Allie Hodge and Emily Peartree won bronze. The Senior Quad of Lexi Eyerman, Ashley Domagola, Erin Clark (filling in for injured Katelyn Gordon) and Taylor Eyerman also won hard fought bronze medals. The Junior 8 and Senior 4 also finished in the top ten for High Schools in New York State.
