9/17: The Mercy Girls Swim Team had a great meet yesterday against Brockport. They fell just a tad short of the win 80-83, but did outstanding as a team! There were many Sectional qualifying times again and many best times by the girls. Janessa Chichelli had a great 500 Free with a best time for the season by 11 sec and qualified for sectionals in the 200 Free & 500 Free. Meagan Martin blew her previous Sectional qualifying time out of the water with a 5 sec drop in her 100 Back. Sydney Vita had two outstanding finishes with a best time in both the 200 Free and 100 Free, qualifying for Sectionals in the 200 Free. Overall, the girls swam amazing and the cheers couldn’t be missed for miles around! Great Job Swimmers!!
9/17: Mercy golf beat Penfield today with a HUGE score of 50 to 28. We had co-match medalists with Danielle Antetomaso and Nicole Vigliotti both shooting fabulous rounds of 44. Christina Potter was close behing with a score of 46. Mackenzie and Megan Fox also helped with the victory.
9/16: Attention all theatre performers....This year’s fall play is Steel Magnolias by Robert Harling. Auditions will be held today from 3:00-5:00 in the auditorium. 9/16: The varsity soccer team defeated Brighton last night 2-1. Rachel Manhardt saved a penalty kick with 6 minutes left in the game. Amanda Mietus had the game winning goal with 1 minute left in over time. The monarchs are now 6-0-1
9/16: In golf, Mercy beat Fairport 44.5 to 33.5 but the actual scores were much closer than that. It was a real tight match and Mercy girls fought hard for the scores. Christina Potter was medalist for the match with her terrific 39. Mackenzie Campbell and Erin Murphy tied for the next sport with super scores of 41. Julia Culhane was terrific with her round of 43. Megan Fox had the only birdie for both teams out there with her 45. Maddy Smith also helped with the victory. Great job all.

9/15: Would you like to help a refugee child with their homework or play with them after school? Passport is going to Mary’s Place tomorrow after school. We will leave Mercy at 3 tomorrow and return to Mercy by 5:15. All highschoolers are welcome. If you have gently used books or toys for the refugee children (anything for ages 5-teenager), bring them along to donate!!!
On Wednesday, we will be going to The Legacy to play board games or cards with the elderly residents there. If you play the piano or would like to practice your musical instrument, the elderly LOVE to hear you play!!! Please sign up for these Passport Service Learning opportunities outside of Mrs. Randazzese's office, which is located on the 3rd floor, middle staircase!

Great race ladies!
