This program was designed in direct response to home school families who were asking for the opportunity to work alongside one or more of our talented teachers. This campus-based, part-time program allows a student to stay deeply connected with her home school community while offering her the opportunity to work with a teacher in any content area in grades 6 through 12. For example, a student may wish to receive instruction from a Mercy teacher in AP Science, Art, Music, or Performing Arts. In addition, because of the complexity of mastering the 'spoken aspect' of a foreign language, Mercy offers classes in French, Spanish, and Latin in our part-time program.

After the student is accepted, she and her parent meet with our Admissions Director and grade level counselor to select between one to six courses. We will make every effort to keep the selected course(s) in either the morning or afternoon to accommodate family schedules. Families pay the same rate per class as  a full-time student. Students work in our Media Center between classes.
