Hey everyone. Happy to have learned that this site exists and it was great to read what everyone is up to. I have actually had the opportunity to sit on the Alumnae Board for OLM and happy to see so many people still reaching out. We are planning a Happy Hour for December, probably at Tonic, and I would love to see all of you there.... just an opportunity to reconnect with old friends. As for me, personally, I graduated from the University of Buffalo in 1997 and am currently a Financial Analyst for Strong Memorial Hospital and attending St John Fisher part-time in the MBS program. I was married last summer in August and bought a home in West Irondequoit so I am just enjoying life at this point. Keep posting and be on the look out for the Happy Hour date in December. Take Care. Hello Everybody,
Well let me begin by saying that I am so proud of all of you for doing so well in your careers, family etc.
I have a 9 year old son named Isaiah and a 4 month old baby named Wesley. I am not married yet but hope to be soon. I am currently a hair stylist at Regis in Eastview mall and as you can see I live around the corner from our beloved OLM. I would love to get in touch with many of you (Andrea Cav., T.J., and Felicia just to name a few.) I hope that I didn't miss the reunion, I kind of got lost in the sauce for a while there. I still talk to Caprisa almost once a week. She is my baby's Auntie/Cousin. I am living with her Cousin Mike. He's my baby's daddy in case that was too confusing.

I haven't strayed far from Rochester since leaving OLM. After graduating from St. John Fisher, I headed all the way down the thruway for medical school in Syracuse. I am now in my last year of my pediatric residency at Strong and the light at the end of the tunnel is beginning to shine. I graduated from the University of Buffalo in 1997 with a BA in Film. Since then, I have worked in television production in Buffalo and Puerto Rico. I moved to Denver in 2001 with my boyfriend Ned and am a Marketing Manager for a liquor distributor. I love Colorado and don't plan on leaving anytime soon. Ah, how the winds of change gust through us Mercy girls' lives! Since last I wrote, I've abandoned my high-powered D.C. career in technology public relations, have moved back to the Western New York area, and am in school full time (which I never thought would happen again!) to earn my teaching certificate, reading specialist certificate and EdM. Yes, I've decided my new calling is to be an elementary school teacher, and if I can make it through being a student (especially since I'd long ago become accustomed to a paycheck and no homework!), I'll be a "legit" educator in May of 2004.
I am also getting married this October, and without endlessly gushing over someone y'all don't know, I will say he's a wonderful man who DIDN'T go to McQuaid! Kelly Payne and my sister, Julie (Class of 1996) are my dual maids of honor, so it's going to be a true Mercy alum affair.
As OLM is always in my heart, I welcome e-mails from fellow classmates...though Ellen, I greatly apologize for never having gotten back to you (I was applying to graduate school at the time, as well as moving!). I especially would like to know what's being planned for our reunion...and relatedly, where the heck Colleen Kubiak is these days?!
Hope this message finds you all well, and I congratulate you on the numerous accomplishments - and successes in overcoming challenges! - that have been achieved over these short ten years!

Glad to read that everyone listed on this page is doing great since our graduation! I finished my Bachelor's degree in Psychology at John Carroll University, which Cathy B. predicted (remember those t-shirts we wrote on about what we predicted our futures to be during our Sr Retreat at Camp Stella Maris, found mine the other day). I'm currently living and working in Cleveland, OH as a Sr. Human Resource Generalist for SIRVA Inc. And working diligently to be a good influence on Jen Parker and Kristen Sorokti (haha). I started Bryant& Stratton one year after graduation. I switched majors from paralegal to business mgmt. After a couple trips,1996, I decided to move to Texas. I work in the Accounting dept. for the former HYPERMART, (Wal*Mart supercenter training ctr). I still get to play with the money! Unfortunately its not mine, so I also work at Circuit City part time too. I have a 4yr old son David Andrew, with the Dave ya'll told me I was really supposed to be with. TX has done wonders for my english (sorry Mrs. Leo). I am looking forward to seeing everyone at this year's reunion.......when is it? I'd love to hear from my sisters at mercy. (01/03)
