My husband, Peter, and I were married in 2006 in Rochester with many Mercy friends present.  I completed three years on the alumnae board in May before moving to Raleigh, NC.  This July we welcomed our daughter Madeline while we were living in NC.  We are now in Melbourne, FL for my husband's job and looking forward to the next step of our adventure.  (9/07)

Big news in my life!  On February 1, 2007 my husband and I had our first child, a baby boy named Francesco Leonello Casilio (we call him Frankie for short).  That's what keeps me busy these days.  I left my full time position to stay home with my son.  I do go back a couple times a week, and bring Frankie with me, to have some adult interaction!  We still live in Austin with our boxer, Daisy, and our cat, Phoebe, but will be relocating to Toronto some time after the first of the year.  I am very excited to be so much closer to home, though I will really miss Austin.  I am glad to see that everyone is doing so well, and wish everyone the best.  (9/07)

It is so nice to read the posts about how everyone is doing.  I have not updated in quite awhile and have some updates myself.  I moved to Washington, DC in 2000 upon graduating from SUNY Albany with a Poly Science degree.  A few years after working in politics and law I switched carers and started back to school and got my masters in elementary education (Marymount University 2004).  I will be starting my 4th year in teaching in September.  I teach 5th grade but have started a new career path in 5th grade gifted and talented.  I got engaged to Phil Baker on April 10, 2007 and we are planning a July 29, 2008 wedding.  I hope that you are all doing well.  (7/07)

Hey everybody, this is my first time writing in to this. It's nice to see my former classmates are doing so well! As for me, I own a home in Webster NY, where I live with my girlfriend and several pets. I was a Corrections Officer for the Sheriff's Dept. from 1999-2003. I was hired by the Rochester Police Dept. as a Police Officer in March of 2003, fulfilling a dream I have had since grammar school. It's not the easiest work, and I was injured badly on the job 2 years ago by a drunk driver. I received many get well wishes, some from Mercy Alumnae and staff...Thank you for that. It has aided in my extremely long recovery process! I still talk to almost all of my friends from high school, and I would love to hear from anybody. Best wishes to you all. (03/07)

After completing a thesis on the impact of relational aggression on post adolescent women she will be proud to receive her degree in Human Services Administration. Leia is happy to have remained close to many Mercy friends and to have recently reconnected with many of them via the internet.  (11/06)

I never got my college degree. Still have not married. No children either. I DO have two cats! does that count? I still try to travel as much as I can. I am now working in a Fortune 500 Company, we are actually 102 at this time! Those of you who know me, are probably asking yourselves why I am still here in Rochester? I just can't seem to imagine my life more than 15 miles away from my parents. So for now, just enjoying the moment. (9/06)

It’s been so long! I always thought that I would leave good old Rochester, but have enjoyed the last 6 years here way too much. I recently bought a house— actually not too far from Mercy.   For the last 2 years I've worked as the National Sales Manager for a women’s apparel line- so there’s a lot of traveling in my schedule—at least 9 weeks out of the year. It does get tiring, but Fashion Week in Las Vegas, twice a year… what could be more fun?! And yes, Alma and I were finally able to get back in touch and email on a regular basis. Hopefully she’ll make it back from Mexico for a visit! Glad to hear that everyone is doing so well. (08/06)

Not too much has happened since the last time I updated my information. I did get married on August 2, 2003 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Rochester. My husband Frank and I live in Austin with our two boxer babies, Daisy and Marley and our cat Phoebe. I still work for a State Farm Agent and have taken the next 2 semesters off of school because Frank and I are going to be traveling for 2 months, part of the time will be spent in Rochester and we will be traveling through Europe for the rest of the time. I am hoping to be able to stop by Mercy for May Day. Please e-mail me or visit our website, we keep it updated so friends and family can keep up with our crazy life in Austin. And I am still best friends with Julie Parker-Mintz, I flew home to Rochester to stand up in her wedding. (04/06)

After completing my undergraduate degree in Engineering at Kettering University--I married my husband Jeff. About a year later we decided to go back to school for our Masters of Engineering at RIT--which we completed August 2004. This August we are celebrating the birth of our first child--Natalie Grace. She is beautiful--but of course we are a bit bias. We hope everyone is doing well! (08/05)

In 2003 I graduated from SUNY Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences with my doctor of pharmacy degree. After spending 7 years in Buffalo I've moved back to Rochester to work at Wegmans. Yes I'm still at Wegmans, it's been almost 11 years since I started working there. In April 2004 I married a fellow pharmacist from Strong Memorial Hospital, Steve Valentine. We built a house while planning our wedding, something I don't recommend anyone doing! After a year as a staff pharmacist at Wegmans I was promoted to Pharmacy Manager at the Brooks Chili Store. It's been a busy couple of years it's hard to believe the time has gone so fast. Hope everything is well with everyone! (03/05)
