Well, just a quick update since my life has taken a turn recently.  I moved to South Carolina in 10/07, just ourside of Hilton Head.  I am currently working as a Registered Dietician/Wellness Specialist at a hospital in Beaufort and living with my boyfriend in Bluffton.  It is deinitely a culture shock here in the south, but so far, so good!  If anyone is ever looking for a vacation spot, Hilton Head is beautiful!!  12/07

Since I haven't submitted any updates I thought I would let you know what is new with me. I too took the military option chosing the Air Force however I am a National Guardswoman in CT. I served in Iraq in 2003 as an aircraft mechanic on the A-10. Before leaving for the war my husband and I were married by our base chaplain (the big wedding was after we got home from the war). Since I have been home I completed my BA at Central Connecticut State University. We bought our first home in CT of course, and we are expecting our first child (Noah) around March 28th. I am currently working jointly with the Army in the Counter Drug department doing drug prevention work with youth in high risk areas of CT. I still work on the A-10s on my drill weekends (they are my passion). I commend all of you for all your success! I don't know if I will be up for getting my Masters, forget a Phd! Well... if you are ever in my neck of the woods please get in touch!  (02/07)

Greetings from Ohio! It was great to see how everyone has been doing! I have yet to post to this or keep in touch so hear goes: I graduated from Penn State and returned to Rochester for a year working for Paychex and was transferred to Dayton, Ohio where I was in sales for the past 3 years. I just recently got married on September 1 to Trent who I met (start laughing) in a beer and pizza bowling league with some of my co-workers. Good thing that Mercy Gym Class or PE class taught me how to bowl! I am currently starting a new job/position with a company called Paycor in Cincinnati in December as a Sales Manager. Other than that, things are going real well. Meg Vandenberg ('99) is now engaged and getting married on Sept 1 2007 to Tali Burton. Can't wait to hear more about all of you! Hopefully will be able to get home for the 10 year reunion in 2 years - YIKES!!! God Bless....(10/06)

Well there are about 27 days until my wedding, and I am currently in the bridal panic mode that everything will not be done on time. This is primarily due to the fact that my husband to be just bought a business (gymnastics) and now as owner he's super busy, which leaves me to all the fine tuning on the big day. We are having a small wedding of about 90 here in Downingtown, and then taking an adventure honeymoon through Alaska. I cannot wait! Bear viewing, dog sledding, glacier hiking, kayaking. Then when we return it is back to work for both of us (I will be back teaching 5th grade) and maybe starting to look for another new home (closer to his work). I hope everyone is doing well and is happy. I look forward to hopefully attending the reunion, and catching up with people I've lost touch with. (07/06)

Hey girls. wow - time flies when you're having fun! I don't know where to start. I graduated in 2002 from RIT's School of Fine Art with a BFA dual degree in Illustration and Graphic Design. I worked in art preservation for a few years, and recently landed a great job as the Project Manager for Barbara Heinrich Studio (a fine art jeweler). I do murals (interior and exterior) and illustrations/design on a steady freelance basis. But my true passion is music. I have been in a synthpop/EBM band called Silent Auction since 2003 as vocalist and co-writer and we've performed more times than I count and our songs are being played in Electro dance clubs across the country. We've performed with some incredible artists and I'm looking forward to what else is to come. We were recently signed on to a record label (Angstlab Records) and I LOVE IT! I honestly couldn't ask for a better, more exciting life. I have been dating the most creative, loving, and honest guy (Jason) for 3 years with some "plans" in the near future. I'm still in Rochester and find it amusing I'm not the only one. No kids and no house, but every day brings something new. (05/06)

Wow! It is great to read what everyone has been doing! New things for myself include my recent engagement to my boyfriend of three years. We are planning a February 2007 wedding in Santa Fe, NM. I have almost finished my time in the military (8 Years!) and I will be a student come this fall studying Veterinary Science here in beautiful San Diego. The Navy has been good to me but it is time to move on. Congratulations to everyone! Have a great year. Take care, Kate (03/06)

Just hanging out in the Big Apple...I am working in the Development Office for the Stern Business School at NYU and having a lot of fun with that. Salsa lessons are my new favorite thing. Congrats to everyone getting married, having kids and earning degrees. Look me up if you are in the area. (02/06)

Over Thanksgiving break I learned about these postings and couldn't wait to hear what my old classmates were up to. Congrats on all of the weddings, babies, and great jobs. I am a little behind in those areas. For one more month, I will be living in Old City in Philadelphia. I went to grad school at Rutgers in Camden studying Int'l Public Service and Development through the Peace Corps. I leave in January for Thailand where I will be a Community-Based Organization Development Worker for three years. I am excited to go back (studied abroad for 7 months and taught English for a year in Bangkok after graduating from Holy Cross) but will miss my non-profit job, my "buddy," and my friends, especially Mary Crane, Jess Wegman, Carolyn Sear, and Meg Ahern (who are all doing great.) Thanks for all your updates and looking forward to the next time our paths cross. If you find yourself in Thailand, look me up. (12/05)

Brian and I have been happily married for two years now and have been living in Philly for one year. I am in the second year of what is turning out to be a longer-than-I-expected master's degree program in Textile Design. I'll graduate in Spring 2007 with an M.S. concentrating in knits. After that, fame and fortune is the plan. :) (10/05)

My long time boyfriend of 6 years, Rob Sharp, and I were married on September 3, 2005 in his hometown of Geneva. We just got back from our honeymoon in Paris and Amsterdam. The wedding and honeymoon were both fabulous.  I am still working at FannieMae. Things are going very well for me there. Other big milestones since high school: BS in Information Technology at RIT and MBA from American University.  I hope you are all doing well! (09/05)

Hey Ladies! Last time I wrote I guess was about a year and a half ago. Since then I have had a baby. Addison Marie Turnauer was born on April 29th, 2005. She weighed 8lbs 2oz and was about 20 inches long. She's a little over 4 months old now which is crazy. She has a head FULL of brown hair and has blue eyes. She looks a lot like her dad, but has my eyes and is tall like her Lemcke relatives. Addison is definitely our pride and joy. For any of you considering it...parenthood is awesome! I have been back to work now for about 6 weeks and it's going well. I still work at Genworth Financial (formerly GE Financial) in Richmond, VA, where I am a project manager. If any of you are ever in the area, look me up! I hope everyone's doing well. I love hearing about what everyone is up to. Oh yeah, and for anyone who read Kate Fig's posting...she's now engaged to that nice Scottish Lad (Gregor). (09/05)

Wow! I can't believe all of the crazy stuff that people have gotten into--it is really nice to read about all you girls and all of the happy goings-on in your lives. I graduated from SUNY Geneseo in 2002 with a BA in Philosophy and Psychology after also having studied at Oxford University in England. I am currently in my third and FINAL year of graduate school at RIT--I graduate in May 2005 with my Master's and my Certificate of Advanced Study. I will officially be a certified School Psychologist. As Courtney reported for me, I am going to be married this coming July and I can't wait (although I do think I will miss my name--is that wrong?). We live in the area on Oxford St. and I am continually amazed at how many Mercy girls still live around here--Courtney and I just literally ran into Kelly Frost the other day at the store! I still talk to Courtney (Butera), Abby, and Audrey regularly--Mercy friendships/bonds are priceless!! Two doors down from us is a family that has FOUR current Mercy girls. In september I saw them all out in front of their house wearing their respective "Field Day" colors--I was so jealous, those were the days! Keep up with the updates, I love hearing about you all. Hi everyone! Just thought I would procrastinate from studying for finals and give a little update. I'm currently in year 3 of 4 in a joint JD/MPH program. I will graduate from law school this coming May and I'm planning on taking the New York Bar Exam this summer. Then, after spending the summer studying, what better thing to do then go back to school. I will have one year left to finish towards my masters in public health, and with any luck will graduate with that degree in May 2006! It's great to see what everyone has been up to, and I hope that everyone is doing well. Best wishes! (03/05)

Well a lot has happened since my last update. I got married, graduated college, and now we are expecting our first child, a little girl. She is not due until March 15 but we are hoping she arrives sooner than later. I have been put on bed rest and I cannot imagine laying in bed for another month. Besides that nothing is new. It is nice to see what everyone is up to. (02/05)

Hey girls! I just finished my Masters in Environmental Management at the University of Stirling (Scotland). There I met a nice Scottish lad, and now we both live in Melbourne (Australia). I am working as an environmental consultant, based in Melbourne, but since the consultancy does a lot of work in developing countries (especially SE Asia), I will be spending a lot of time abroad as well. I have kept in touch with several Mercy girls, and it's always nice to check the site to see what people are up to. Hope that everyone is doing well... (01/05)

My husband, Anthony Blankenship, and I bought our first house September 2003 in Georgetown, Texas. I work for the Texas Historical Commission's Main Street Program in Austin Texas. I was lucky and blessed to find a job in exactly what I went to college for; Historic Preservation and a minor in computer art from the Savannah College of Art and Design. I really love my job so far, and it helps the time pass while my husband is away. Anthony is currently in Baghdad, Iraq with the Army. He has been gone since January 2004, and there is an 85% chance he'll be home December 2nd 2004. It will be wonderful to have him home for the holidays...all prayers are appreciated. (07/04)
