Well I was surfing in our class notes this evening at 1am while my house sleeps and I noticed that none of the 86ers have done any updating since 2007. So although I admit I too have been a little busy in 2007, I cannot let it slip by without giving it and all of you thanks. Thank you. Thank every single one of you who has held out a hand for me and my family this year. Your hands, your prayers, your letters, your hope were the floor I used to walk on in 2007. And although I am growing back my hair and my strength is seeping back into my bones - I know that the new life I have now is built from the fabric of my old life woven back together by the strength and spirit of all you angels in my life who flew to my aid to help stitch me back up. I am eternally grateful and forever changed from the experience and the amazing grace I received from all you angels - the seamstresses in my life. Thanks. love - kts. (12/07)

Figured I might as well do an update since it has been a bit. I was reminded to do this by Colleen Sheehey who was also kind enough to share the sad news about Katie's illness. We will keep Katie in our prayers as she goes through this rough time. Well... I have three girls, Hayley (10 1/2), Heather (7 1/2) and Grace almost 4. They keep me extremely busy. I am a stay at home mom for now until Grace starts full day Kindergarten in two years. The girls all play sports. Hayley is a soccer player through and through. She wants to play for Anson Dorrance at UNC and I wouldn't be surprised if she does. However, she wants to be a chef too. So, we travel all over the country with her elite team playing in tournaments. She also ski races and plays basketball. Heather is also a soccer player and loves it. She is not as determined as Hayley which is a good thing!! However, she is really good at both soccer and Lacrosse and ski's on the side. Grace is just bossy and big. She towers above all the kids at preschool. She plays soccer on Thursday's because "I can do what my sister's do but better".. Anyway, we travel a lot to Florida and anywhere else there is a soccer tournament, along with going to the Cape every summer. Bill's law business keeps us here in Rochester until we retire. So... travel we must. Hope everyone enjoys the new year. Keep Katie in your prayers!!! (02/07)

It has been fun reading and catching up on classmates that I probably haven't heard from since graduating! After High School I went to undergrad at Randolph-Macon College, just outside of Richmond, VA and then on to graduate school back here at Nazareth. I worked for many years as a speech-language pathologist and now I am a stay-at-home mom with my son, Matthew (3.5). My husband Andrew (McQuaid alum) and I have been married for 8 years. When I was 9 months pregnant with Matthew, we moved to Pennsylvania, only to be back in Rochester a year later. Matthew started preschool at St. Louis in the Fall and I can't believe how many of our classmates' children are now his classmates. It is a small world! I would love to hear from any of my classmates! Take care and Happy New Year! (02/07)

Big news in my life! On February 1, 2007 my husband and I had our first child, a baby boy named Francesco Leonello Casilio (we call him Frankie for short). That's what keeps me busy these days. I left my full time position to stay home with my son. I do go back a couple times a week, and bring Frankie with me, to have some adult interaction! We still live in Austin with our boxer, Daisy, and our cat, Phoebe, but will be relocating to Toronto some time after the first of the year. I am very excited to be so much closer to home, though I will really miss Austin. I am glad to see that everyone is doing so well, and wish everyone the best. (9/07)

Hey everybody, this is my first time writing in to this. It's nice to see my former classmates are doing so well! As for me, I own a home in Webster NY, where I live with my girlfriend and several pets. I was a Corrections Officer for the Sheriff's Dept. from 1999-2003. I was hired by the Rochester Police Dept. as a Police Officer in March of 2003, fulfilling a dream I have had since grammar school. It's not the easiest work, and I was injured badly on the job 2 years ago by a drunk driver. I received many get well wishes, some from Mercy Alumnae and staff...Thank you for that. It has aided in my extremely long recovery process! I still talk to almost all of my friends from high school, and I would love to hear from anybody. Best wishes to you all. (03/07)
