  • Congratulations to the Mercy MasterMinds team for a good performance at the meet yesterday held at East Rochester.  The Varsity team defeated both Greece Olympia and Greece Athena.  Top scorers were Katie Giugno and Elizabeth Meisenzahl.  The JV team defeated both Greece Odyssey and East Rochester.  Top scorer was Laura Giugno.  Well done Monarchs!
  • Attention ALL students:  We will be having an abbreviated Advisement Period on Tuesday November 21st Students should first report to the auditorium at 9:58, the beginning of Advisement Period.  We will have a short assembly and at the conclusion of the assembly, Advisement Period will begin.  This means that Middle School students will return to the Middle School until 10:28, when first lunch begins and High School students will be able to meet with their teachers as necessary.  Please plan accordingly.

  • JV & Varsity basketball tryouts will begin tonight in the varsity gym, starting at 5:30pm.
  • The varsity swim team’s 200 meter free relay team of Heidi Klein, Olivia Obuhanych, Natalie O’Hern, and Paige Eaton broke the school record time over the weekend in sectionals, which qualified them for the state meet.  And Paige Eaton broke the school record in the 100 Breaststroke, qualifying her for the state meet for the 2nd straight year.
  • The varsity cross country team finished 3rd in sectionals on Saturday, with Sarah Ciurca leading the way for the Monarchs followed closely by Julia Spagnola and Hannah Chaffer, all placing in the top 20.  Nice job, ladies!
  • The Black Diamond Llamas Lego League team had a strong performance this weekend. The team earned top marks in each of their 3 presentations, enjoyed meeting other teams, and had a ton of fun problem-solving. Their robot performed well and the team won the prestigious Robot Design Award, and the team will be advancing to the championship in December. Congratulations, Llamas!
