PRINCIPAL'S LETTER

Dear Mercy Parents,

New Student Orientation Day 2006 for our 7th and 9th graders was a day of anticipation, meeting new friends and participating with each other in team building activities. Mother Nature provided the glorious sunshine for all the outdoor events and relaxing pizza lunch. It was a great day for all!

Our administration, faculty and staff look forward to the new school year and partnering with you throughout the months ahead. You are the primary teachers of your children and we join you in that awesome responsibility of continuing what you have begun. Our faculty and staff have spent time together over the past week listening, learning, sharing and praying in preparation for the days and weeks ahead. This year as always it is our mission to guide and teach our young women in the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Thank you for your support and confidence in us and the programs we offer.

God bless you and your families.

Vilma Goetting
Principal

SCHOOL NEWS

Friday, September 8th is a dress up day for school pictures. School ID's will be worn on lanyards throughout the year and should be in good taste. Modesty is the key.

The cafeteria is open for meals. Please send checks, if possible, for the student accounts. The students have received new numbers. Parents can get a printout at any time if they wish.

Drivers - please use the Clover Street entrance only and drop off students at the Gallery doors. Do not use the Blossom Street entrance in the morning or after school.
