LEARNING AND GROWING OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM
Our students are offered endless opportunities within the classroom as well as within the community in one of over 30 clubs. The clubs' participants have been invited to complete regionally, nationally and internationally, bringing home internations "Top 10" placements and recognition to our Mercy community! Over 70% of the student body participated on 43 sports teams during the 2014-2015 school year.
- Writers, editors, photographers and artists can share their creative talents through the school's newspaper, literary magazine and yearbook.
- Academic groups include Mock Trial, Youth and Government, Masterminds, Debate Club and DECA.
- For our performers, Mercy offers Drama Club, Improv Club and Jazz Ensemble. Our actresses also participate in our spring "Children's Theater," a fall dramatic production, and the spring musical. Our entire community supports the arts via our annual Arts Fest, which is a full day dedicated to celebrating the arts. Come visit our new Performing Arts Center and Black Box Theater!
- Professional coaches and trainers guide our athletes, some of which have been nationally recruited to Division 1 collegiate athletic programs in a variety of sports including softball, volleyball, track, alpine skiing, golf, soccer, sailing, basketball, crew, cross country, swimming and lacrosse.
