Golden Mass 2021

On December 17, 2021, Mercy celebrated Golden Mass, a long-standing and beloved tradition. Special thanks to Father Bob Werth for celebrating Mass with us. During the liturgy, Christmas baskets containing food and gifts for local families in need (which were stacked around the altar and revealed during Mass) were blessed. After the liturgy, and in true Mercy fashion, students, faculty, staff, and families loaded the baskets into their cars and delivered them to each sponsored family. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, attendance at Mass was limited to high school students. Middle schoolers took part in a special Golden Prayer Service yesterday where the gift bags they collected for Head Start Preschool were blessed. More photos from Golden Prayer Service can be found in the Mercy Photo Galleries on this site.
