Mercy Day 2019

On September 20, 2019, the entire Mercy school community celebrated Mercy Day at morning mass. Following mass, the students and the Sisters of Mercy participated in the Global Climate Day of Action. Mercy Theology teacher Sr. Joan McAteer led a blessing and dedication of the new Mercy Monarch Garden and Wildflower Patch. Inspired by Anne Curtis, RSM and the Mercy Monarch Milkweed Project, we are taking action and enhancing our world. The Wildflower Patch, affectionately named after our middle school students, is led by Middle School Class Officers, Isabel Ament, Andie Jones, Lila Hwang and Ellie Murphy. The Mercy Monarch Garden is led by Motto project Seniors Kaylina Plummer, Pat Salcido and Catie Spegar. They will all lead the path going forward in preparation for planting on Earth Day 2020.
