Middle School Golden Prayer Service 2021
On December 16, 2021, the Mercy middle school celebrated a Golden Prayer Service in the Motherhouse Chapel. Due to COVID-19 seating limitations in the Auditorium, the entire school could not be present for the annual Golden Mass (high school students attended Golden Mass the next day on December 17, 2021). So, in true Mercy spirit, the 6-8 graders, led by Campus Minister Christine Kvam, celebrated a ‘Golden Prayer Service’ just prior to their Christmas Break. Students and their families donated books, warm mittens, and winter hats which were distributed to the 115 preschool students at ABC Head Start which promotes and provides opportunities for low-income individuals and families to become self-sufficient.
