Congratulations to Mercy alumna and Board of Trustee member Megan Bell ’99, a 2020 winner of the Rochester Business Journal Forty Under 40 Award! Megan’s professional accomplishments, coupled with her high-level of service to local communities, made her an excellent candidate for this year’s award. Through her extraordinary leadership in board development, strategic planning, grants management, fundraising, and volunteerism, Megan fights to eliminate poverty and bolster community development, health, and education. Megan serves as the Director of Grants and Programs at the Max and Marian Farash Charitable Foundation. According to Hollis Budd, Executive Director of the Foundation, “Megan inspires by her example and her ability to get things done; she gives of herself without fanfare or seeking limelight.” The Forty Under 40 Awards will be presented during a virtual ceremony in November during which winners will be celebrated through video storytelling.
