Middle School ‘Moves Up’ To Blossom!

In a re-imagined Moving Up Day today, middle schoolers paraded ‘home’ to the Mercy Blossom campus where they’ll be returning for school next fall. Sporting their special Moving Up Day shirts in their class colors with balloons in hand, our sixth through eighth graders trekked the two-mile route which began at the Mercy East campus on East Avenue. Led by Dr. Diodato, Dean of the Middle School, and accompanied by middle school faculty and staff members, students were escorted by the Brighton Police Department on their sunny stroll. When they arrived at Mercy Blossom, girls were greeted by high school students holding signs and handing out popsicles for them to enjoy before touring the building and campus. Several news stations covered this exciting event. You can view their reports here: http://bit.ly/MS-Walk-Spectrum and http://bit.ly/MS-Walk-Channel13. We’re so excited to welcome our middle schoolers back home to Mercy Blossom next year! Check out all the photos at www.mercyhs.com/photos.
