Performing Arts Groups Earn GOLD Ratings in NYC
The Mercy Orchestra, McAuley Choir, and Show Choir recently earned GOLD ratings for their performances at the World Strides Music Festival in NYC! Of the 40 ensembles (from 15 schools around the country and Canada) that competed, Mercy’s McAuley Choir placed First, with the Show Choir placing Second in their respective divisions. Mercy’s instrumental program earned two Maestro Awards thanks to Shirley Sun (piano) and Crystal Wang (violin). Amazing!
