Founded in 1928, Our Lady of Mercy School for Young Women was built on the notion that young women should have access to an academically rigorous environment to become highly competent and deeply compassionate leaders, ready to serve the world. Nearly a century later, Mercy remains an institution that thrives on intellectual curiosity and a dedication to an all-girls environment. 

Employees at Mercy become part of a community that is surrounded by tradition, yet focused on meeting the greatest challenges of our world. With a focus on the Sisters of Mercy’s Critical Concerns— Earth, Immigration, Women, Racism, and Nonviolence— the Mercy community is engaged in combining academic excellence with real-world impact.
