In the Circle of Mercy,
all are welcome and belong.

We believe that all people are the children of God. We seek to remove barriers to equal opportunity and empower all members of our community to reach their fullest potential. Recognizing the intrinsic dignity of every individual, we commit to reducing systemic inequality. We nurture an environment where diversity is supported and valued; we promote equity, inclusivity, and social justice. In the Circle of Mercy, all are welcome and belong.

Mercy Believes

A caring community for young women is shaped by our Catholic and Mercy identity, rooted in Gospel values, dedicated to the ministry of service, and respectful of cultural and religious diversity.

Critical Concerns

As a sponsored Ministry of the Sisters of Mercy, we hold fast the Critical Concerns — Earth, Women, Nonviolence, Racism, and Immigration.

List of 5 items.

  • Earth

We believe in the need for sustainability of life, supporting both a lifestyle and legislation that acknowledge everyone’s right to water and the need to address climate change.
  • Immigration

We respect the dignity of each person, especially immigrants, and will make efforts to see that everyone has a decent home, livelihood, education, and healthcare.
  • Nonviolence

We will work for peace through prayer, education, and practices of non-violence.
  • Racism

We believe racism is an evil and will address it in our own hearts and in our world.
  • Women

We believe that women’s education, women’s rights, and their health and spirituality need special attention.
We commit ourselves to be servants for all.
