Are camps for girls only?

The Summer Collective reflects Mercy's belief in supporting families beyond the school year. By offering a co-educational program, we are able to welcome siblings, neighbors, and friends into a summer experience rooted in the same care, creativity, and excellence that define our school—while preserving our all-girls mission during the academic year.

The Summer Collective is open to boys and girls, Pre-K (age 4) - Grade 12! While many of our summer programs are co-educational, select camps may be offered as girls-only; those particular programs will be clearly indicated in each camp description.

Looking for extended care?

We know work schedules don’t always match camp hours. Our Extended Care program offers safe, supervised care before and after camp to support working families. Campers can ease into the day with quiet activities in the morning and wind down after camp with games, crafts, and free play. Registration is flexible, sign up week by week or all summer, providing parents peace of mind and kids extra fun!

Before Care (8:00 - 9:00 a.m.)
$40 per week

After Care (3:00 - 5:30 p.m.)
$80 per week
Afternoon extended care includes a daily snack for all campers

(Both) Before & After Care
$100 per week

Welcome to Summer at Mercy!

Dear Families,

My name is Julie Barrett, and I’m thrilled to serve as Mercy’s Director of Summer Programs. This marks my fifth year leading summer camp operations and my second wonderful summer at Mercy. Our team has been busy creating fresh and exciting opportunities to make this season unforgettable. We’re proud to introduce The Summer Collective—a dynamic blend of camp offerings that includes our Mini Monarchs Day Camp, a range of visual and performing arts programs, and much more.

Best of all, our programs are open to everyone! Whether you’re a current Mercy student, a member of the local community, or spending the summer in Rochester, we’re excited to welcome you. One of the highlights of my role is connecting with our campers—you’ll often find me visiting sessions and supporting activities
wherever I can. We encourage you to explore our expanded offerings and see why this is shaping up to be our most exciting summer yet.
